The book My Years with General Motors is a practical guide for practitioners to think and implement strategically.  No other book comes close when it comes to experiencing  Strategy in action.  The concepts are highly relatable to any practitioner.

Although the book was written with GM as a focus, it is considered to be a classic in business literature. Peter Drucker, the father of Strategy, who wrote the preface of the book said as much that the book contains learnings for any business leader.
